One who has coarseness of spirit will in the end stumble with a married woman. He is like one who worships idols, as if he denied the very foundation of faith, as if he transgressed all the forbidden relations, and as if he built a private altar. He is diminished in stature until he is no more.

He deserves to be cut down like an idolatrous tree, his dust will not be stirred [at the Resurrection], and the Shechinah laments over him.
